High-quality hand-printed reproduction of an antique view of Venice, Italy, by Friedrich Bernhard Werner, 18th century. Text lists the buildings with numbers that correspond to numbers on the buildings in the image. The Piazza San Marco is at center and there are many ships and gondolas in the water. Made using a combination of modern technology and traditional methods, wherein an original is scanned, its likeness is digitally etched onto an engraving plate, then the plate is used to print the image in the traditional way, with a printing press.
